My experience in this class was interesting to say the least. I did have fun in the class for the most part, but I did have some complaints. I learned how to make a spreadsheet thanks to this class. I will use this info in the future when i go to college. I have learned how to social bookmark, which has helped me get to sites faster. overall i give this class an 8 out of 10.

I used wix to make my website. It was super easy and fun. Out of all the websites I looked at Hunters and Grace A. looked the best. Hunters had the best topic. Grace A. had the best layout. that is what I thought.

weekend

This past weekend was a lot of fun. This past weekend I took my girlfriend to prom. I also took her to our after Prom. We both enjoyed it very much. Hopefully i can do it again next year.

Good movies

In recent years, there has been a lot of very good movies and TV shows. One such movie is Fantastic Beasts and where to find them. This movie is great for any Wizard Fan. The twist to this movie is that it is set in 1920`s New York. I really enjoyed this movie.

Over the spring break, I had the opportunity to visit  Americas great city of New York (AKA New York City). There I saw many of the cities sites. I saw Time Square and all the shops by it. I traveled there with my choir group. I saw many of the shows of Broadway.

Dream business
If I had to dream of a business that would be awesome, i would think of a t shirt company. this t shirt company would allow you to customize them. From the color to the logo. this is basically a business like RedBubble or CustomInk. i just really like t shirts.

The two info graphics that stood out to me the most were Hunter & Clayton. Hunters was about Rhinos and Clayton`s was about K state vs KU. they both had very pleasing imagery to look at. they also had a few interesting facts about their topics. Hunter`s showed me that there are only five types of rhinos in the world. Clayton`s showed me that KU tickets for football cost more. Jackson H`s showed me that car company Lincoln, has the best customer satisfaction. Zack`s showed me that Pepsi soda has more grams of sugar than coke. Finally Bryn`s showed me that Facebook has more users than Instagram. All info graphic we pleasing to look at.

I have learned that Info graphs are a very fun and creative way to show people facts about stuff. i had a very enjoyable time creating my infogragh because could do it about a topic i liked. i might use this again if i was in a marketing or web design class. i used piktochart to make mine. the site was easy to navigate and i would use it again if i needed to.

Infographics
Today the topic will be over infograpghics. An infographic is a visual image such as a chart or diagram used to represent information or data. an infographic and be about many things. it does this by having an interesting topic. one idea is a time old question of which is better star wars or star trek. even thought the answer to this is obviously star wars, it is still fun to see the statistics. another topic could be about history or something. as long as you find the topic interesting it can be made. the most important part of an info graphic is the title. this is just like a newspaper article needs a good headline so it will sell. Infographics are used quite commonly now online.

Canvas Vs Lucid press

This last week i have experimented with both of these online tools. I found that they both have pros and cons. the one that i like to use the most is Lucid press. this is because it was in my opinion more  user friendly. canvas on the other hand was good to use but only if you know exactly what you want to make. the con to this is that it is not as free flowing as lucid press. i like how lucid press is folder bases. the con to this is that items are not automatically saved like canvas.

kids these days

Kids today have no idea how good they have it. With all their fancy computers and their futuristic cell phones. back in my day, we had to fight in wars and actually go outside to have fun. any kids today been drafted, of course not and do you know why? its because we "old folks" had to put our lives on the lines for them to even be born. Now a days you can even hold a conversation with them with out it involving a text message.

Having to do this project with out actual contact with my partner was harder than expected. The lack of communication was a key factor on this difficulty. Over all the project was fine. the document was easily shared between the two of us. The topic was easy as well.

This article was very interesting. This is because we only see one side of the spectrum. If we saw this article from a teenagers perspective, i think this would allow us to see their side of the story. Another question I have with this article is when is a person supposed to stop having fun and devote ones life to only work. This is something that is not really addressed but rather augmented for.

Today I watched a Ted talk about technology. The speaker was Sherry Turkle. the Talk was titled "Connected but alone." the Talk showed how humanity is becoming less social by being connected through social media. I see this topic as debatable, I am nether for or against this idea. I makes me wonder about humanities future.

Chrome vs Symbaloo

I have recently experienced, bookmarking within Chrome & Symbaloo. The two are very user friendly. In my personal preference is to use Chrome because i have used it longer and I'm used to it. Symbaloo is better to use though because of the endless social aspect. Both are good to use.

Over the weekend, I mostly slept. I didn't have any homework so, I mostly played Overwatch on my PS4. The character I mostly played as was Genji. I also went to Trader Joe's and bought some food. It was a shame that the Patriots didn't lose to the Steelers. Overall, id say my weekend was relaxing.

1/17/17 prezi reflection

Prezi is comparable to Power point in numerous ways. In ways that I found Prezi to be somewhat easier to use instead of power point. This was because of the lay out of the full Prezi made it easier to move things from one slide to the next. In most respects however, the two are very identical to use. The outcome of a future presentation would, in my opinion, be the same no matter which I were to choose. The one problem I did end up having with prezi was that the word boxes were not consistent and hard to use at times. Both are fine to use.
